AmbaFlex - control of emissions exhausted during welding operations
4 MCP-16RC diluters have been installed at Ambaflex, for organizing a better control of emissions exhausted during welding operations.
The client processes big elements and works with long weld seams, respectively with many operators/shift. Furthermore, he needed the installation of equipment to have low to none impact on the assemblage of other machines existing in the working area. Any customization of the welding equipment and the eventual installation of connecting tubes that would interfere with the usual way of manipulating the elements to be welded, have also been avoided.
The diluters functioning process implies:
The evaporation of smoke which has been accumulated at 4-5m above the working area
Air recirculation for better capturing of emissions
Overtaking and filtering of the intake polluted air
Beside capturing and filtering polluted air the purification towers offer series of other advantages:
An increase of productivity in the working area
Better quality for the welded products
Lifetime prolongation for equipment and other installations existing in the working area
Reduced energy costs
Easy installation and maintenance
Upgrade possibility for the implemented solution
The main characteristics of the MCP-16RC are:
