Kvaerner Group, Norway - Heating and Ventilation, Painting
Minex supplied the Kvaerner shipyard in Stord, Norway, with two TSV 40000 units and two AZW 6-3 fume extraction boxes, designed to enhance the efficiency of painting processes and ensure a safe and well-ventilated working environment.
The TSV 40000 units combine heating and ventilation functions, ensuring a constant flow of clean air in the painting booths. This optimizes paint application and drying, contributing to a superior finish quality. Additionally, the AZW 6-3 fume extraction boxes are designed to effectively capture and remove harmful fumes and vapors, protecting operators’ health and reducing air pollution in the workspace.
The efficiency of the painting process was improved by maintaining consistent temperature and ventilation conditions in the work area. This allowed for uniform paint application and reduced drying times, thereby optimizing productivity.
Productivity increased significantly due to the reduction of interruptions caused by fume buildup and the consistent quality of the process. Operators can work at a steady pace, and the quality of finishes has been enhanced.
Energy efficiency was improved through the use of advanced technologies integrated into the TSV 40000 units, which optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs. These units are designed to comply with the strictest sustainability standards.
Working conditions were significantly enhanced by reducing the concentration of vapors and fumes in the air within the painting booths. Operators now benefit from a safer and more comfortable environment, contributing to increased job satisfaction and efficiency.
Environmental protection was prioritized through the use of ventilation and extraction systems that reduce pollutant emissions and optimize fume management. The solutions provided by Minex support compliance with the strictest environmental regulations, contributing to a reduced impact on the local ecosystem.
