Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries SA, Romania - Blasting and Painting
The first program developed by Minex at the Mangalia shipyard took place in 1997 and involved the design and commissioning of two blasting halls, fully equipped with all necessary accessories and equipment. Subsequently, in 2007, four fully equipped blasting and painting halls were constructed. This project represented the largest of its kind in Romania at the time and one of the largest in Europe. In 2008, two older blasting and painting halls were modernized using Minex solutions, enabling their operation with new equipment and in compliance with environmental protection standards.
Delivered equipment includes:
- Complete blasting systems, including abrasive handling and automatic recovery equipment;
- Painting installations with high-performance ventilation and filtration systems;
- Control equipment for monitoring and managing blasting and painting processes.
Improvements brought by the implemented solutions:
