Why scarification can be an efficient way to treat surfaces

Scarification is actually the process allowing you to remove a controlled level of the surface to be treated with the help of a mechanical procedure, which is similar to drilling.

The engine of a scarifying machine gives an inpuls to a barrel on which there are a  series of cutter wheels mounted. They are able to grind the surface that is going to be processed while taking advantage of the equipment’s weight and of the power of the engine in the same time.

Usually the procedure is ideal when:

willing to remove hard covers from a surface

intending to remove concrete and asphalt relevant thicknesses out of a specific floor

In other words, the scarifying machines are recommended in cases in which one would intend to completely renovate a floor in office or residential buildings, in production halls, warehouses, farms or parking places.

Blastrac equipment is under such circumstances created in such a way so that the weight of the machines is focused on getting the maximum pressure needed on the rotating barrel, for each application in part. In the same time it was token into consideration the fact that the barrel should work with the possibility to be adjustable at a millimeter level, insuring obtaining the exact results as planed.
