In order to ensure the anticorrosion protection (in the marine industry, production of containers, production of pipes and tanks, or metal structures), under the condition of low ambient temperatures and / or when using paints with high solid degree, it is mandatory to insure an optimum reduction of the viscosity of the materials that are going to be applied on the surface to be treated.
Viscon heaters are, in this context, suitable for any kind of paint, adhesive, sealant or lubricant that is going to be pumped on the metal part, as it allows a wide range of temperature control.
Viscon equipment is also designed for an easy cleaning. Maintenance can be done on the site and does not require specialized service. The heaters are available either with a manual thermostat, or in a controllable format through an external drive.
Excellent in using for paints with high solid percentage, Viscon ensures minimal pressure loss and accelerates the heating time of the material, thus allowing high flow rates and a quick start of the production process.
Both the standard version, and the ATEX certificated one, can be used at high pressures up to 500 bar, making it compatible with most pump systems. With the thermometer placed in the fluid output, an effective and consistent control of the material temperature can be obtained and therefore its viscosity can be manipulated in order to get an uniform and effective application.
