The new characteristics of the V808 cutting machine from Voortman allow the robot to process all types of metal plates and profiles quicker than any other machine available on the market.

The extreme flexibility of the robot in combination with the structure of the machine make it possible to generate any profile format and to simultaneously process all 4 sites of a metal plate.

V808 is a thermal cutting machine able to ensure maximum liberty in designing and producing metal structures. Furthermore, it has the capacity to cover the functionalities of sawing machines, punching and shearing machines, marking ones and cutting and drilling equipment – all in one.

Voortman V808 is equipped with the new system from Panasonic – TL1800G3. The design of the machine includes 2 degrees of additional liberty, in comparison with the one with 6 axes from Panasonic. This way the equipment is capable to cover a higher range of capabilities than any other machine existing on the market. The robot is much easier and more precise than any comparable one. It’s stable, simply to put into place, and ensures a high quality of the metal processing applications.

Higher precision in plasma and oxy-gas cutting operations

Voortman continued to optimize the precision of the plasma cutting operations. In order to do so, the right combination was found between the cutting process itself, and the dynamic of the machine movement. For the systems that are working with oxy gas, Voortman added proportional valves for an automatic control of the flow, and for eliminating any human intervention within the process.

Much better fixing and measuring systems

The automatic measuring systems with roles are still the fastest forms for positioning the profiles to be processed. They ensure a continue fixation process, and operate at a speed of 42m/min. The weight that can be sustained by the measuring system goes up to 15000 kg allowing the machine to be extremely flexible.
