Minex @ SMM 2018 (the leading international maritime trade fair at Hamburg Messe)

Between the 4thand the 7thof September 2018, Minex Group participated as exhibitor at SMM 2018 – the most relevant global event for the maritime industry. The trade fair is organized once in 2 years and takes place in Hamburg. This edition brought together 2289 exhibitors from 69 countries and 50.000 visitors from 120 countries.
The trade show covers all sectors that are of interest for the maritime industry and creates an ideal platform for experts to present their technologies and innovations. Last but not least, SMM is the place where the trends and the future of the industry are “put on the table”and debated especially during the conferences that are running during all 4 days of the event.
Within the section “Equipment and installations for the shipbuilding industry”, Minex Group was, this year, the only exhibitor offering integrated solutions for surface treatment. We intended to present ourselves as a consultant and designer of complete solutions for blasting and painting applications in the maritime industry. We are happy that our partners are exclusively top brands that offer high-tech equipment for industrial applications. We mainly want to thank Straaltechniek for the strong cooperation we created in more than 20 years in which we closely worked together and developed series of complex projects for shipbuilders all over the world.
It was our pleasure to meet professionals and potential clients from Canada, Australia, USA, Italy, Norway, Romania and Germany. We thank them all for valuable discussions and we hope we’ll meet each other again during the SMM edition in 2020.
