At Interserve Industrial Services PLC in UK alarming levels of toxicity have been registered during electric arch welding operations.
Solution:
For solving the issue Nederman UK in cooperation with General Welding Supplies recommended the installation of the FilterMax FO90 unit in conjunction with one NCF 120/25 fan, connected to 8 x 7.5 m extraction arms with hoods.
Benefits:
The solution immediately eliminated the risks implied by fume generation resulted during welding operations. The working environment became safe and clean while the entire activity registered an increase in productivity. The time necessary for replacing the PPE filters was also reduced.
