Damen Shipyard increases the production capacities in Galati-Romania

In 2016 Damen Shipyard invested in developing its production capacities of high-tech vessels in Galati.
During this project, two new blasting, painting & drying halls and one painting & drying hall have been designed and set into place by Minex.
The halls have been fully equipped with modern blasting and painting systems including abrasives’ transport, recovery and cleaning units. The design is fully customized and took into consideration the space limitations in the shipyard, respectively the desired production capacities and particularities.
Since Damen Shipyard is more and more concerned in implementing environmental friendly solutions while also optimizing the overall costs, Minex suggested integrating energy recovery ventilation systems in all halls that have been newly produced.
