Case study: welding technical solution at a factory in Portugal
05.06.2019
The client, a Dutch company producing truck components, decided to build a factory in Portugal. One of the challenges the company had to face refers to finding the appropriate solution for capturing the fumes resulted during welding operations.
The best option was to install 10 Nederman Original extraction arms with automatic dampers. The solution was operated through sensors and it implied the possibility to manipulate the collecting unit as needed. A FilterMax 6000 was put into place in conjunction with an NCF 80/25, 11kW ventilator, which was to be controlled with the help of an invertor.
The possibility to extend the solution with 6 extra arms made the decision to purchase the Nederman proposal even easier. A supplementary advantage is the fact that the invertor helps in reducing the energetic consumption during working process.
